I fetched next year's study guide for my faculty yesterday, and as the Bologna-treaty reform of the degree structure has now come into effect, I'm confused as all fuck. I may or may not have to write a Candidate's thesis this year, and I'm so not ready. I hate writing theses!

And there seems to be a lot more courses for my level, more options that I find interesting and many of which are book exams, but I don't know what to pick. There are too many. Fixing up a schedule from all of that seems like so much work. All I know for now is that I'll have to start Latin again this year. I suspect I could pass it if I left the Hebrew and Greek out this year, but I may have to take a Greek text course if I ever want to pass my Novum exam. And come the 15th, I'll have to decide whether I want to add Japanese or Portuguese into the mix. (Theology? What Theology?)

I wouldn't be me if I wasn't studying a zillion languages at a time. But the Swedish I'm vehemently not touching for a few more years.

I suppose being able to introduce myself as Candidate of Theology would be pretty cool, though...
