The time I'd allotted myself to not have to think about my thesis during the Summer ended today, and I've now spent the whole morning trying to avoid looking at my Professor's comments on the section I returned in June.
I just finished watching Nicholas Cage's Wicker Man, and I've got to say that hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahhaha... hahaha ahahaa ahhahahahahahaha - what I mean is - ahahahaha hahaha haha. It was a comedy right? It was meant to be funny, surely?
I was creeped out by the original. Good God, the first time I watched it in the middle of the night, that was really something.
Now that I've seen this remake, all I can think of about the theory they taught on History of the Horror Movie class, about how the villains and creatures current to horror movies reflect society's acute fears.
Is it women? Is it bees? It's got to be the women, entrapping and emasculating men, right? KILLING HIM WON'T BRING BACK THE FUCKING HONEY!!!
