It is boys that experienced their childhood in the 1980s or later that know who Megatron and Optimus Prime are. Those born before or that have otherwise been spared the knowledge need not bother wasting their time on the new Transformers movie.

Boys? Pop culture phenomenon such as this is the shared experience of my generation. Please.

I was browsing threads on the all-important debate of whether Goku can beat up Superman (no way, much as I prefer Goku) just before landing on these pearls of wisdom. It's the great narratives of the children born during the last decade of the cold war (sad as this is) that are currently being cinematized all over the globe, so please to not be excluding me based on your limited understanding of the experience.

PS. I'm convinced that the Internet was created for the purpose of deciding whether character X can beat up character Y on the condition that Z. Yes.
